Established in 2022
OUR EMPOWERMENT
The Foundation shall have the power, directly or indirectly, alone or in conjunction or cooperation with others, to do any and all lawful acts which may be necessary or convenient to affect the charitable purposes, for which the Foundation is organized, and to aid or assist other organizations or persons whose activities further accomplish, foster, or attain such purposes. The powers of the foundation may include, but not be limited to, the acceptance of contributions from the public and private sectors, whether financial or in-kind contributions
Mission
Guided by the belief that every life has equal value, the Prince and Tawa Woods Foundation will work to assist all people, especially young people live a healthy lifestyle. The Foundation will focus on improving people's health, education and giving young people the chance to lift themselves out of hunger and extreme poverty. The Foundation shall support diversity at every opportunity. The Foundation believes that equal opportunity is essential for the continuing success of our communities. Likewise, the Foundation shall include but not be limited to the following:
Vision
A. To act and operate exclusively as a nonprofit corporation/foundation pursuant to the laws of the State of Massachusetts, and to act and operate as a charitable organization in lessening the burdens of government, providing relief of the poor and distressed or under privileged, and promoting social welfare by reducing unemployment through economic development. B. To engage in any and all activities and pursuits, and to support or assist such other organizations, as may be reasonably related to the foregoing and following purposes. C. To engage in any and all other lawful purposes, activities and pursuits, which are substantially similar to the foregoing and which are or may hereafter be authorized by Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and are consistent with those powers described in the Massachusetts Nonprofit Corporation Act, as amended and supplemented.

- H. To support community initiatives with focuses on using sustainable technologies to enhance development;
- I. To build capacity and sensitize young people and communities on issues, such as health, human rights, etc.
